This is a blog and/or creative writing repository for Tom. Tom is in his late 20s and one day wants €3xxx/month, a dog, an apartment in a safe neighbourhood, a penguino, and some fucking respect on his name and thats it.

Q/A:

1) Isn’t running a blog a little bit narcissistic

Kind of but it’s probably alright, cast the first stone

2) Why do this?

Writing is important and is good for the brain and encourages reading and deeper interaction with the self on a meta level

3) Where are you?

4) Why is everything in English?

Give it some time and there will also be things written in Italian, confidence is a mountain with narrow footholds for the kid but it is scaleable nonetheless

6) Why is the site called Dancehall and why are you calling yourself a badman

That’s a great question and the answer is that it both sounds cool and is a signifier used to express gratitude for a great musical genre and culture of which there should be greater appreciation for, but unfortunately there won’t be much talk about dancehall music in the posts, or maybe there will - now that the website is up and running and has the name of the musical genre it’s sort of an inevitability. In the context of dancehall music, anybody can be a badman with enough dedication and self-preservation, right?

Questo e’ un blog e/o un archivo di scrittura creative di Tom. Tom ha tipo… 20 qualcosa anni, verso trenta (oh my fucking god) e un giorno vorebbe €3xxx al mese, un cane, un appartamento in un quartiere tranquillo, un Pinguino, e un po’ di rispetto del cazzo per il suo nome, tutto qui.

Scrivere e’ importante, fa bene al cervello, ti spinge a leggere di piu’ e ad avere un rapporto piu’ pronfondo con te stesso a un livello meta

3) Dove sei?

Milano ma ho vissuto in veneto per anni

4) Perche’ scrivi tutto in inglese?

Sono americano cazzo basta rompere i miei coglioni, dammi un po’ di tempo e ci sara’ roba scritta anche in italiano, la fiducia in se’ e’ una montagna con appigi stretti per sto ragazzo ma sia scalabile lo stesso

5) sei un ciccione di merda

6) Perche usi i accenti strani? Tipo usare i apostrophi invece degli accenti giusti?

7) Perche’ il sito si chiama Dancehall e perche’ ti definisci un badman?

Bella domanda, e la risposta e’ che da un lato suona bene e dall’altro e’ un modo per ringraziare un genere musicale e una cultura fantastici, che meriterebbero molta piu’ considerazione. Purtroppo pero’ nei post non si parlera’ tanto di dancehall — o forse si’, ora che il sito e’ online e porta il nome del genere e’ quasi inevitabile. E poi, nella dancehall, chiunque puo’ essere un badman con abbastanza dedizione e istinto di sopravvivenza, no?
